Spring Cleanup (And Trash Pickers)

Spring Cleanup is here this Saturday, which means I have been busy hauling load after load of random crap out to the road. Amongst the pile of non-computer related crap I’ve added the following:

6 Computer Cases (Motherboards, parts, and enclosures need not apply)
8 Keyboards (Including the keyboard that had all the way up to an F24 key)
3 CD Rom Drives (5x speed baby!)
13 200MB to 2GB Hard Drives (Over half didn’t work)
5+ Floppy Drives (And to think I could have had both an A and B drive in my computer)
1 250MB Zip Drive (I didn’t know I even had this, oh well)
8 Monitors (Most didn’t work, some were fuzzy, others were black and white)
1 Copy Machine (Not pictured, it weighed at least 150 pounds)
4 Power Supplies (Not including those in the cases)
30+ Chips of old-school RAM (The biggest may have been 1MB)

Between trips I noticed a SUV pull up and yank some parts. I’m not sure what they grabbed but I’m pretty sure it didn’t work. =)

Dan! For the love of Christ — recycle that stuff! It’s filled with toxic chemicals that will destroy our ability to reproduce! Have you not seen “Children of Men”?! Oh, what a harrowing plight we will find ourselves in.

On a lighter note, having fun reading your blog while I should be working.

    Best,

    TY
